While life coaching does work with a range of issues of life, coaching is not a substitute for mental or physical health treatment.
Neuro-diverse individuals, who are either receiving medical and/or behavioral care, but do not have severe functional impairments are welcomed to pursue coaching services with me.
If you or I believe that your present mental or physical health go beyond the scope of coaching, I will supportively refer you to a mental and/or physical health professional in your area.
If I believe your counseling needs go beyond the scope of my ability to provide appropriate services, I will supportively refer to you to appropriate service provider
If you do select to pursue counseling services with me, you must reside and receive those services within the state of Indiana and consent to receive some or all counseling services through telehealth.
If you live outside of the state of Indiana, you are freely welcome to use my coaching services. However, if you/we determine that counseling is needed, I will refer you to local counseling resources.
While I am trained to offer both coaching or counseling, I offer them independently and separately. Potential clients must select one type of service and pursue it. Those undergoing mental health treatment with a separate professional, may choose to pursue life coaching with me, if the scope of our coaching is separate and does not interfere with mental health treatment.
For those potential clients, who disclose a mental or developmental condition to me, we will collaboratively decide if the scope of your coaching goal fits within my coaching services and has the approval of your healthcare provider.
Coaching services are not suitable for any one who is currently significantly impaired by an active addiction, eating disorder, psychiatric episode, involved in on-going trauma or self harm, or legal proceedings.
Those coaching clients who choose to share medical or mental health information with me, acknowledge that it is done so within the scope and for your purpose of coaching. All information shared within coaching will be held within the standards of best coaching practice. However, coaching clients acknowledge that coaching services are not legally regulated or protected. All coaching participants do so at their own consent and risk.
